A 12th century convent
L’Antico Convento (originally called Mincione Convent) dates back to the 12th century, when it ruled over many hectares of vineyards, olive groves and grazing land due west of Monte Acuto, a central Umbrian mountain near the Tiber valley, which dominates the city of Umbertide.
